Description

A warm and comforting spiced vanilla chai latte made with aromatic spices and creamy milk.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups water

2 black tea bags

1 cinnamon stick

4 cardamom pods, crushed

4 cloves

1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced

1/4 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Whipped cream (optional)

Ground cinnamon (for garnish)

Instructions

1. 1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

2. 2. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, cloves, and ginger.

3. 3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

4. 4. Remove from heat and strain the mixture into a separate pot.

5. 5. Stir in honey and vanilla extract until dissolved.

6. 6. In another saucepan, heat the milk until steaming but not boiling.

7. 7. Froth the milk using a frother or whisk until creamy.

8. 8. Pour the spiced tea mixture into a mug and top with frothed milk.

9. 9. Add whipped cream if desired and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

10. 10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For a stronger flavor, let the spices steep longer.

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.

Try using almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
