Description

A warm and aromatic spiced chai latte brewed in a mug, perfect for cozy evenings.


Ingredients

Scale

2 cups water

2 black tea bags

1 cinnamon stick

4 cardamom pods, crushed

4 cloves

1-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

1. In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

2. Add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, crushed cardamom pods, cloves, and sliced ginger.

3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

4. Remove from heat and strain the tea into a mug.

5. In a separate saucepan, heat the milk until steaming.

6. Add honey and vanilla extract to the strained tea and stir well.

7. Pour the steamed milk into the spiced tea and enjoy warm.


Notes

For a vegan option, substitute milk with almond or oat milk.

Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey to taste.
