Description
A delicious spiced caramel macchiato that combines rich espresso with creamy milk and a hint of spice, topped with caramel drizzle.
Ingredients
1 cup brewed espresso
1 cup steamed milk
2 tablespoons caramel sauce
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon sugar
Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
1. Brew the espresso and set aside.
2. In a saucepan, heat the milk until steaming but not boiling.
3. Add sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the milk and stir until dissolved.
4. Pour the steamed milk into a mug, leaving room for the espresso.
5. Slowly pour the espresso over the milk.
6. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and add whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, use dark roast espresso.
Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
Serve immediately for the best taste.
