Ingredients

1 cup hot water
1 teaspoon dried peppermint leaves
1 teaspoon dried ginger root
1 teaspoon dried chamomile flowers
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Lemon slice for garnish
Instructions
1. Boil water in a kettle.
2. Add peppermint, ginger, and chamomile to a mug.
3. Pour boiling water over the herbs.
4. Steep for 5 minutes.
5. Strain the herbs using a fine mesh strainer.
6. Add honey if desired and stir well.
7. Garnish with a lemon slice before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed warm. Adjust sweetness to taste. Can be made in larger batches and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
