Ingredients
2 cups almond milk
1 chai tea bag
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Add the chai tea bag and steep for 5 minutes.
3. Remove the tea bag and stir in vanilla extract and honey.
4. Add ground spices: cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, and nutmeg.
5. Whisk until frothy and heated through.
6. Serve in a mug and top with whipped cream if desired.
Notes
For a stronger chai flavor, steep the tea bag longer.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
This recipe can be made vegan by omitting whipped cream.
