1 teaspoon fresh orange zest
1–2 tablespoons fresh or dried cranberries
Instructions
1. Crack egg into a microwave-safe mug (12 oz capacity)
2. Add sugar and milk, whisk until well combined
3. Mix in baking powder, salt, and flour until just combined (don’t overmix)
4. Stir in melted butter, vanilla extract, and orange zest
5. Gently fold in cranberries to distribute evenly
6. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes, checking at 1 minute
7. Test for doneness – top should be firm and springy
8. Let cool for 30 seconds before enjoying
