Description

This cookie mug recipe no egg is rich, buttery, and ready in just 5 minutes. A perfect microwave treat when you’re short on time—or eggs.

Ingredients

Scale

2 tablespoons butter 2 tablespoons milk 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 – 4 tablespoons brown sugar 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips 1 pinch salt

Instructions

1. Place butter and milk in a coffee mug and microwave for 30 seconds to melt butter and warm the milk. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla extract until well mixed. Add flour, chocolate chips, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly. Microwave on high for about 1 minute (adjust for gooey or firmer texture). Let cool for 5 minutes before eating. Top with ice cream, whipped cream, or your favorite add-ons if desired.

Notes

The cookie will continue to cook slightly after removing from the microwave, so don’t overcook if you want a gooey center. Add-ins like peanut butter or caramel work great in this recipe.
