A warm and buttery coffee cake mug cake recipe made in just minutes with cinnamon crumb topping. Perfect for quick comfort anytime.
Ingredients
Mug Cake
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 tbsp butter, melted
Crumb Topping
1 tbsp butter, softened
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients for the mug cake except the crumb topping. Stir until smooth.
2. In another bowl, mix crumb topping ingredients with a fork until crumbly.
3. Pour batter into a microwave-safe mug. Top with crumb topping.
4. Microwave for 1 to 1:30 minutes, until the cake is just set.
5. Let cool slightly and enjoy warm.
Notes
Use a regular 10–12 oz mug to avoid overflow.
Start with 1 minute cook time, then add 10–15 seconds if needed.
Try dark brown sugar for deeper flavor.
