These quick and easy Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls are perfect for breakfast and can be made in just 30 minutes using a microwave!
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 egg
1 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and cinnamon.
2. Add milk, egg, and melted butter; stir until combined.
3. Fold in chocolate chips.
4. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
5. Let cool for a minute before serving.
6. Top with additional chocolate chips or a drizzle of icing if desired.
Notes
For a protein boost, consider adding a scoop of protein powder to the batter.
These rolls are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days.
