Ingredients
1 bagel (any flavor, sliced in half)
1–2 large eggs
1 slice cheese (cheddar or American)
1–2 slices bacon or ham (optional)
1 tablespoon milk or water
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Lightly toast bagel halves and cut into small pieces that fit in your mug
2. Crack eggs into a large microwave-safe mug
3. Add milk or water and whisk with a fork until well combined
4. Add salt and pepper to taste
5. Microwave on high for 45 seconds, then stir
6. Add bagel pieces and cheese, stir gently
7. Microwave for additional 15-30 seconds until eggs are set and cheese melts
8. Top with bacon or ham if using, and fresh chives
9. Let cool for 30 seconds before enjoying
